Jon Snow, one of the most charismatic and popular characters in the HBO television show Game of Thrones, returned from the dead in the second episode of the sixth season. The question of Snow’s fate after he was apparently killed at the end of the fifth season in 2015 broke the internet. Snow’s much-awaited resurrection finally seems to have happened after the prayers of the priestess Melisandre (Carice van Houten), also known as the Red Woman. Even as intense speculation continues on the implication of Snow (Kit Harrington) opening his eyes, the American comedy show Saturday Night Live has something to say on the pacing of the episode. Look out for Brie Larson and Cecily Strong, standing in for everybody who thinks that the show’s creators have dragged Snow’s inevitable return beyond acceptable limits.
